Sing a Song

I Want To Lead a Band

I want to lead a band
With a baton in my hand.
I want to make sweet music high and low.
Now first I'll beat the drum
With a rhythmic tum-tum-tum.
And then I'll play the bells
And next I'll blow the flute
With a cheery toot-a-toot.
Then I'll make the violin sweetly sing.
Now I'm leading a band
With a baton in my hand.

Try This

Have everyone in the family march and sing around the house today. Good marching songs include The Noble Duke of York and The Ants Go Marching.

Read a Book

Here are two book recommendations for today. Check out the picture book collection at your local library, where there are lots of books to choose from! Find nearby libraries

  • Paddington Plays On by Michael Bond; illustrated by R.W. Alley
